Hello,

I had my 2015 Evo X tuned about 4 months ago with minor bolt on. Just recently, my engine service soon light came on. I took it to Autozone and the code they retrieved had something to do with my catalytic converter. I turned off the service soon light and couple days later, it came back on. I did install a Berk HFC before the tune and everything has been great up until now. Also, with the tune and bolt on, the power difference didn't really wow me. Dont know if it was just me or maybe something is wrong with the car? Maybe because the tune was a conservative tune?
Someone wants to chime in on these reasons?

Probably a P0420? Catalyst efficiency below threshold?

Probably caused by the high flow cat. The rear 02 sensor is telling the ecu that the catalytic converter is not converting the unburnt fuels.

If the car is on tephra rom you can force the CATALYST monitor as passed or ready so it wont set codes......

 

Doesn't need to be Tephra ROM to do that. It's normal ROM stuff. Find a real tuner.
