When will it be impossible to find a stock evo?

Takata pushed my purchase of a car by around 6 months/a year, but I'm wondering when will it be damn near impossible to find a low mile evo?

just kind of food for though. these cars will become a Japanese classic one day. when do y'all think they'll become that rare find?

There are a lot of EVOs out there, not that you would know it by driving around and by SUBARU standards they are a rare sight
Not sure what will be more scarce, low mile or unmodded
I guess both and that's already as elusive as the YETI

I don't think these Xs will ever be a Japanese classic to quite the same level as the 90s JDM dogfighters are... but they may be remembered as the last of a dying breed and that aspect could make them valuable.

As evidenced by recent Evo 9 sales there will always be time capsule cars available to buy - the real question is when will the cost outweigh intent? I would never expect to see an X even close to Evo9 value due to the high production numbers - so don't hold your breath.

I'm still stock after 2 years.

Work and laziness have conspired to keep it that way.

evo 9 turbos are the rarest (1 year production in US) and they consistenly sell for $350-$500... Could the price go up? maybe. but stock evo X turbos were made for a very long run compared to this.

edit: sorry, misread post. I though you were referring to the evo X turbo. whoops. However same thing applys for the car. EVO IX's are rare. EVO X's are not.

I dont think so. There are people out that are still riding stock. Mine is stock aside from a Works Drop In Filter. You may have to travel to get one.
