Looking for the silver piece pictured, here now I see that it says do not pry, but I found this picture after the I took a pry bar to this section. Looking to buy this section off anyone who may have an axle laying about. A new cv axle is close to $800 and even a used one ranges from $200-$350, for just the small part I need seems excessive. If anyone has one please let me know need it ASAP. Or if anyone know where I can find one.

I'd try giving the Driveshaft Shop a call. Since they build/rebuild axles for our cars, they can probably sell you that part. I've also seen inner and outer rebuild kits for these out there so you could probably buy a kit for a good deal cheaper than the whole assembly.
