Window Regulator Bending Issue

So i've been searching and I can't see to find a solution to this issue. for a while my evo X GSR's driver side window regulator has been bent out of shape and the window has been held up by sitting on the arms. I recently replaced the regulator correctly and made sure all bolts and screws where put back and reasonably tightened, and the new regulator bent after a few test runs. Has anyone else had this issue? my evo was in a wreck before I got it and might have a slightly bent frame but im hoping this isn't the case.

No experience with this stuff, but I guess if something is bending, then it sounds like something in the sliding movement is binding up and when the motor applies torque, that's enough to bend the metal.

Maybe try to move the window up and down manually to feel for any areas of binding or resistance. A tweaked door might provide such resistance to the window's movement.

These regulator motors are pretty grunty & can bend stuff pretty easy if not allowed to slide the window up freely. You must have a sticky window or bent frame there.
