Evo x mr turbo
Evo x mr turbo
If i intall the 20k turbo do i have to do a tuning right away? Its because i wanna save some money on labor. After installing the turbo i will take it right away to the tuning shop. The only ting its 1hour and 30 minutes away.
It is recommended that you have the Evo (pro)tuned after changing to a different turbocharger. The engine may subsequently run rich or run lean and you can potentially damage the engine by changing the turbo without an immediate tune.
It is recommended that you go into performance upgrades with a more than comfortable budget. If your budget is tight, then you first save up the cash before you dive into mods. This is one of the top lessons to be learned from the past stories of Evo enthusiasts screwed up, had to sell their Evo, and ended up with no cars. My personal rule is 200% of the quote. That is, budget twice the cash for the total quote (parts+labor+tax and fees), so if something goes wrong, I can go over budget and get the Evo back to the road quickly.

From which model (e.g. TD05H-152G6-12T; TD05-20G; TF06-18K) to which model are you changing?
