Engine shut off mid drive

Need some advice. Was on the free way. And all of a sudden engine cut off. Tried starting it up again. The car cranks but wont start. After a few attempts my battery died. Any advice what it could be. Starter was taken off and check and it's good.

what are the odds that it will be the timing chain that's been stretch?

Even if the chain has been stretched the crank sensor will be producing a signal. The PCM may not fire spark or fuel because it dosen't like the timing of the "dance steps" but it will still show an analog signal coming in. Check for an analog signal first.

I think my starter is bad and two of the four prongs not fully out. Its not making contact with the starter solenoid
