After my accident and losing my Evo a little over two weeks ago, the new one arrived. Look forward to building it and making her my own. It's a 2015, 14,xxx and no mods. Clean slate! In my own opinion this is what true happiness feels like.
Re-install the 10.2" android tablet I was able to salvage from the other one. Gotta throw some recaro's in it. Tint, headlights, fortune auto 510 coil overs and some enkei rpf1.
Next week however I will be ordering an ETS 4" intercooler with piping, V3 extreme and test pipe and ETS intake.
From there going to get the ETS top mount turbo kit (that's why I'm not getting a downpipe next week) get the fuel system setup after that then onto the internal build.
Just haven't figured out what turbo I'm gonna run with. Originally was going with the 6870 but reconsidering it for daily driving so probably something a little smaller for better spool.
drivetrain after that.
and wherever race car things bring me...think we all can agree the project is never done so ill find something else to tinker with
Congrats and welcome back! I would start with a nice vacuum and detail of the car. It's nice to still be able to find clean examples of the X.
Thanks! They are out there but naturally becoming harder to find and more expensive. I had never driven a stock X before the previous one I had. Thought it was stock seemed sluggish to me. Then I drive this one and realize the previous one mustve had some bolt ons and they were taken off but tune wasn't adjusted. This one is so much more responsive. Weird why they didn't flash it back after removing the parts but oh well. I will give her a good detailing hit it with the clay bar as well once it gets a little warmer out. Pics of that and the ETS parts will be up when it happens!
