Powder coating valve cover
I知 buying a new valve cover and getting it powder coated.
Has anyone had speed circuit powdercoat anything for them? I知 hoping i wont have to remove the baffles. Having them bolted scares me a bit.
If there is no blasting done do you beed to remove the baffles?
Thanks!

The powdercoater will still want to blast it. Remove the baffles. The likelihood of bead/sand blast media getting left behind and wiping out your engine is FAR FAR higher than an errant bolt that might fall out.
A- I've never had the bolts come out, I use red Loctite and a lock washer.
B- IF a bolt falls out, it is HIGHLY unlikely it will do any damage. It will likely fall out, and sit in one of the pockets in the head, or go down an oil drain back hole and just chill in the oil pan for the remainder of time.
