Welcome, I did something similar not too long ago and built one that was already modified as well.
800HP seems a bit nuts, I would have it tuned and looked over. I'm sure it's on E85 for those numbers, I would recommend a flextune if it does not have one already.

I don't think so with that fuel pump.

I have the same fuel pump, I doubt I could get 800Hp out of it.

Around how many hp/tq are you able to get out of the pump?

Doesn’t make 800. That pump maxes at around mid 600.

Turbo also isn’t capable.

With the Radium hanger, it's possible the setup is 2 Walbro 450s which would get you there......
Odd they don't list cams for a build that big........ Also so many questions! Who build the trans? Was anything done to the rear diff?

All in all, it sounds like someone poured money in to a build and probably ended up with a well built car that just isn't that much fun on the street. Based on the couple of Dyno sheets I've seen for that turbo on an X, you'll probably see full boost around 5000 RPM on that setup.

Even if you hate it, you should be able to swap a more responsive turbo in for a low cost after you offload the big boy. Sounds like you got a great platform to play with!

My thoughts exactly but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t being over critical.

Any experience with the Exedy R2 Hyper multi disk clutch??

Trust me I have a million questions too lol. I have a video of the car at idol that I will link below and you can tell they swapped CAMs. They also swapped the rear end to an Evo IX.... is that common??

Do you have a link to the actual listing?

The CT9A / RA rear end swap is common on higher hp evos as the AYC rear end is a weak point for launching and does weird things on track at higher torque levels.

what’s that mean exactly? He said there are some codes because of the rear end swap and the after market wheels... I’m guessing that’s not what you’re talking about??

Once you start making sustainably more power, the pressure in the crankcase increases because of the cylinder pressure. In order to vent this pressure away from the crankcase, you need larger vents. The OEM PCV on the evo 10 is uber small and barely can support bolt on power. If you don't, you can pressurize the crank case and blow the dip stick (or worse).

Rear end swap shouldn't have any codes if it was done properly (looping the AYC hydraulic lines) and the code from the wheels are because he didn't swap the OEM TPMS sensors to them.

Yea hopefully the guy isn't trying to run different sized tires on the front and rear or anything. The TPMS light could be on due to missing sensors. Maybe the AYC needs to be bled?

Maybe fix the PCV "problem", and take it to a good shop down there in FL for a good look over and possible re-tune? Maybe AWD Motorsports?

The guy I bought my X was actually from Coral Springs. Lol
