Transmission Issue?

I’ve got a 2010 SE with the SST dual clutch, and recently the cars front tires seem to hop and the car shakes when pulling away from a stop, but no other times. If I drive extremely slow, or roll it doesn’t do it, but putting essentially any throttle into it makes the front tires shake for a few seconds until it gains some speed and evens out. What issues should I be looking for?

Just to start things out - when is the last time you changed the fluid in the transmission?

it’s been a while, most likely too long. Would old fluid be a possible cause you think? I spoke with someone who believes that relearning the transmission with some software could fix it.

honestly that's the very first thing to try if you don't know when it's been changed and the transmission starts acting a bit wonky. There is a relearning sequence out there but if you're not sure when it was changed / how long it's been since a fluid change it could def being a contributing factor.

You can also quickly check engine/transmission mounts too. A broken mount could cause some off-the-line drivetrain hopping.
