P0134 Code/Super Rich Idle Problem

Hey guys, new to the forum & new to the Evo world. I recently bought a 2008 Evo X GSR (Mods below). I bought the car recently, I've probably put 800 miles on it. The car has 64,xxx on it. One day I went to start it & it didn't want to start. Finally I got the car started but AFR's were bouncing between 8-9. The car was obviously running extremely rich as I could smell it & could see it. I turned the car off after a bit. I had been very busy so I put the car on the backburner. A few weeks later I checked the battery in the car because I knew it was older, I went ahead & replaced it before I even started trying to figure out the cars issue. After the new battery I started the car, & as I expected the car still was running poorly. The CEL came on & I plugged my Cobb in to find 2 codes. One P0134 & a U0167. I did quite a bit of research & realized a O2 sensor problem is common with these cars. I purchased a brand new sensor, installed it, reflashed the tune for the car, & started the car. I still had the same issue. I figured the U0167 was just from replacing batteries? The car does not appear to have a boost leak.
Does anyone have any ideas before I dive deep into all of this?

I have had a similar issue on my lancer CJ sedan
The fix
A rear "mini cat" on the O2 sensor

As for replacement O2 sensor. I would drop a new one in the front if it ever needed it and for the rear I would use one off a wreck.
Why?
The ECU measure the volts difference between front and rear
It needs to see a decent amount.of volts difference between the two so it knows the cat is doing it job
If the volts difference is too close between the two, that's when it throws a CEL.
I dunno about the Evo , but the lancer I found you can't swap front and rear O2 sensor over as the length of the cable is different
Hope this helps
