Service engine soon light

Hey guys, I’m new to these forums and just bought Evo X MR a month ago. Don’t laugh because I already know the MR gets hate for being auto and generally bad with its trans. Things that I’ve done are

•new brakes and rotors
•tie rods
•transmission is newer and has 15,000 of the 59,777
•general maintenance the last owner didn’t do
•car is bone stock as well.

i brought it in for service already because of this light already. The cause was a Evac vent leak which was fixed. The light went away and came back on two days later. Everything else in the diagnostic was good/okay except this so I’m not sure why the light is back on? Anyone have experience with this case? Thanks.

Go to a store like Autozone or Advance and get them to pull the code. A code like what you are talking about could be as simple as a loose/worn out gas cap.

Why would any one laugh about you having an MR? Dual clutches are awesome, especially if you get it built by Kozmic 🔥🔥🔥. You might need a new O2 sensor. Go to your local auto part store and get your check engine light checked.

Well every time I say MR a chuckle occurs. But I’m curious, how much would that be?

Also, it’s at 59,777, would it be because it needs a service at maybe 60,000?? I just thought about that.
