Just bought a new aftermarket reverse camera. screwed it in position at the rear then connected reverse cables to and ran it through the car all the way to the MMCS Rockford
radio console.

Now i am having trouble on where to connect the yellow S-video RCA cable with a red electrical wire coming out of it

if i could get some assistance. i have searched everywhere

current vehicle: 2009 Mitsubishi lancer EVOLUTION X MR. Its an Australian EVO i know there's a direct port to plug for he EU and US version but the aussie version its different

 

I'm afraid that you may have to find a professional automotive audio shop for this. My audio shop encountered quite some difficulties as well. They had to use a very sensitive fuse to manually test out every pin to find out which pins are meant for the reverse camera. It is not plug and play. It requires detailed professional knowledge to install a reverse camera to the MMCS.

Alternatively, if you don't want to hire a very good audio shop and like to DIY, you can also buy an aftermarket 7-inch (double-bin) screen. Like if I weren't happy with the MMCS, I could also buy a Kenwood navigation head unit and a Kenwood reverse camera.
