I had my buddy take my car about two weeks ago to do an oil change and to replace some exhaust gaskets that needed to be removed since I had a leak. While under the car as you can see with the pics.
There's a crush washer that is leaking. Now, should I have him just toss another one on, or should I get a flush? If that's what I'm thinking of. Or is it called bleeding the system. Now, is this oil leaking out of it, or is it the liquid that is in the ACD pump? I don't know, that's why I'm asking.
I will say that I had a brand new motor put in since my old one blew, thanks to the oil drain plug wasn't tightened by the dealer, and ever since then, the service engine light has been on ever since. I did make a thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-turn-off.html
Found out that the exhaust manifold gasket is coming out. So, I have my friend taking my car this Sat to put the new one on along with the turbo gasket and hope this works.
If you go through the thread I made about my service light problem, pretty much the dealership told me to go pound sand and wanted me outta there and they came back with that the engine was 100% good to go.
Now, if the gasket is bad isn't that a motor problem, so they should replace the gasket correct? Either way, I'm so done with this dealership.
Also, don't you need a mutli tool 3 to bleed your system, I heard it's not wise to do it yourself, Otherwise I'd rather do it myself and save myself the $$
