Replacing motor on my evo x and wanted to check what maintenance items should be done while out. I assume water pump, what else is much easier to do while engine is out?

Belt pulleys, not necessary but oem are plastic so they can wear out. Look into the metal pulley upgrade (they're Hyundai pulleys).
If you haven't done CMC upgrade, highly recommend as it's easier to reach in.

 

Today, I took the 998 engine out of my mini and wanted to know what other people thought should be replaced while the engines were out. As it will be out for sometime as the rest of the restoration is done.. was thinking clutch, waterpump timing chain etc? Thanks
