I am wondering if the lens portion of the headlight is the same between the halogen and the HID headlights? I ask because I have the HID headlights, which work really well, but the lenses are pretty rough, both outside AND inside. Thus sanding clearning the outside will not fix the whole issue. I was thinking of buying a clean set of halogens then swapping the lenses. No reason to replace the whole light as new HID are almost 2k...

 

I believe the lenses should be the same. The shape of the headlight doesnt seem different from halogen and HID's
