Removal of Rear Subwoofer.

this is as easy of a job as it gets. rate it 1/10 . First you will need a 10mm socket with short or medium extension and a phillips screwdriver. start at the top of the subwoofer and remove the 2 bolts 10mm heads. be careful as not to scratch the subwoofer face hence the need for an extension.

Fourth you will need the 10mm socket again to remove the last bottom bolts on the subwoofer box.

then Remove the connector attached at the top of the subwoofer you will need to tilt it out slightly it has a push up clip on the bottom. try using the screw driver to push up the little clip.

Subwoofer complete is 16 pounds on my scale. to remove it from the box, you will need to remove all the grill screws and then the large silver screw in the back center location. here is an open box pic.

So where are the promised pics, etc. of the planned changes? I was relatively impressed with the OEM RF system but if you have an easy solution for even, more there would be no argument from me!
