You've got some strong finger nails there I'm pretty sure it was pretty painful for me the last time I tried something like that..

Did that to my previous 350Z. Blow driver, then just peeled it off with fingers.. and wiped the remaining off. *WARNING* Use 3M tape to put it back on.. unless you are good with adhesive.. I used superglue and it dripped.. And there is no fix to that...

Time to get the EVO emblems off.. can you guys use regular paint to paint the Mitsubishi Emblem?

since i'm a noob to auto paint, can anyone tell me what setting the blow dryer should be on (low, med, high?). I already read not to get to close, and a friend advised me already that the heat might fade the paint if i keep the heat in one spot for too long. Any other tips are welcome! Thanks

i just did this and had a terrible time also with the "mitsubishi" emblem. i have learned that no matter what you do or you "think" you are not scratching your car, it will be seen with a black car, luckily most of them came off with wax.

this is what i have now

try using silicone (tube kind) to re attach-let it dry for a day or two before washing, but they stick pretty well....I've used it a bunch of times, and works great! (plus you can goo it on with your finger to make sure it covers the whole back, let it dry, then CAREFULLY cut and peel excess and voila!)

Really depends on how good your blow dryer is.. I put it on medium for a little while then switched to low. You can easily judge it when you are doing it. When it's too low or too far, the thing won't melt as fast.. just adjust according to how it melts. I wouldn't suggest High though.

and you aren't going to melt it too much.. as long as it softens a good bit, use fishing wire / floss / or finger to peel. the rest on the car, use goo gone
