I don't think you can keep the fender side marker lights on without having the full headlights on because the parking lights don't keep the side markers lit I don't believe.

You should just be able to splice into the parking light power wire and connect it to the fender light power...

You can wire them so they are on all the time like parking lights and then blink when you use your turn signals. You wire them to have a floating ground and you'll have to tap into wiring for the parking lights to accomplish this. You cut the ground wires for the sidemarkers, or better yet, extract the wire terminal from the bulb harness like a professional would. Remove the wire from the metal terminal that you pulled out of the harness and solder a new piece of wire to it. I would use the same gauge wire as they used OEM. Run this wire to the parking light wiring. Try to do so inside the car since hacking into wiring outside where water can get at it is a bad idea, unless you're going to put adhesive lined heat shrink over the splice you're making. Anyway, either use a wire tap to attach this wire to the parking light positive wire, or, like a professional, remove the wire's terminal from the harness and solder your new wires onto the terminal, but first, make sure that you can still insert the terminal back into the harness with all three wires connected to it. There's a pretty good chance you won't be able to solder on your new wires. So you'll have to do the next best thing and just tap the parking light positive further away from the harness. Here's a link you can check out for a visual representation as well as instructions. This shows how to wire parking lights to be turn signals, but the idea is the same, the wires are just transposed, we're tapping into the parking lights instead of the turn signals. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...rkerflash.html

How they blink will vary, depends if your parking lights are on or not. In one case they'll be out of phase with your turn signals and in the other case they'll be in sync.
