there is a thread about it but it think you have to take a fuze out somewhere

just get your manual go to the fuse chart and there is one that says day lights i think its 13 , and take it out and VUALA!

only works if you have the projector HIDs, its fuse number 13, should be a red 10 amp fuse in the lower right hand corner.


i almost thought you found a solution for non sss daytime running lights =(

took mine out yesterday and it makes the car look alot better since it doesnt have those ugly yellow lights

From what I can tell from the FSM, the headlight relays are controlled by the ETACS-ECU. There are custom programmable features to the ETACS-ECU, however DTRL function is unfortunately not one of them. So I think us base model folk are stuck with DTRL's.

Next get some super white H11 bulbs for the fogs if you ever use em. 25 bucks gets rid of the yellow there too.
