REQ: Cartridge Block Heater Installation How-To
REQ: Cartridge Block Heater Installation How-To
Hi I recently purchased the cartridge heater accessory that mitsubishi sells for winter.
Has anyone done this? I seem to have found the hole in the side of the block where it goes but I need a good 5" clearance to fit the Plug in. It seems to be on the drivers side of the intake side of the block near the thermostat behind the backside of the throttle-body.
The parts guy said it was easy but i seem to be having trouble believing i have found the right place since its so tight. I could take of the heat-shields and go at it from the bottom but it doesn't look like there is enough room for the 5" to get in there so i can slide the plug in.
Any help or pictures would be appreciated.
EDIT: Maybe someone could just point me in the right direction of where I could find the proper diagram or page in the service manual. Thanks.

BUMP:
Just need to find the correct hole. Just got the correct cable. So i guess no one else here has done this themselves or bothered posting on it. Its very simple though.
