I used a hacksaw blade and carfully made one cut into each of the two clips, then just pulled them off with needlenose pliers.

BTW, I LOVE my TWM short shifter & consol bushings!

This was the first mod I did to my car. I got this shifter with the bushings and the Leopard engraved shifter. While I was at it I got rid of the crappy looking stock shift boot and threw on one of the T1r suede boots. I couldn't be happier with the performance of the set up or the look.

But after seeing that T1r shift boot, I got to get one as well!

The A6 Leopard is definitely a great choice for the Evo X.

Got mine installed!!!

The beefier, solid shift feeling is soooo much better than the stock one. The notchyness from 1st to 2nd gear is still there, but less noticeable. This is how it should have come from factory!

Very happy with this mod!! Excellent product!!

Thanks for the great feedback! I'm glad to hear the shifter made it to Singapore safely and that you're pleased with the results. Thanks for the orders guys

the PDF makes this look really easy, whereas without pictures it would seem really confusing. I'm considering this as a first mod because the stock shifter is way too long IMO
