EVO X GSR Clutch Flywheel Change

Title says it all, for replacing the clutch is it doable without removing the entire engine, or if it is going to be replaced should I just give it to a transmission specialist shop.
If you have done this replacement yourself, how was it?

Thanks for your replies.

Who told you, that you had to pull the engine?
Apparently the clutch change is similar to that of the EVO 8/9

Well, for starters don't take it to some joe schmoe transmission shop. Clutch job by yourself, first time, on the garage floor, expect about two days of huffin' and puffin'... it sucks! And no you do not need to pull the engine, the worst part is getting the tranny back in over the steering rack... But you get the hang of it after your 4th or 5th one. I suggest you search the VIII and IX boards, there are very good writeups, one of the sponsored vendors even has it on his website, the only difference you will have to account for is the acd.. but there is also a writeup somewhere on that too! Just search. Its been about 6 months since I have done one, so I couldn't tell you off hand.

Perfect, TTP has pictures.

yes the tranny will come down, and it would not recommended doing it unless you done it before or with someone who has.

Even if you still have done it before on the VIII or IX, its still more difficult and takes notably longer.
