His if you look close does not have the lip that extends out on the side. I believe this is what he used: # 330-022-002. Also this is the cover or wire mesh to match wire in front of IC #330-022-001.

Correct. If you order from japanparts, you'll have to order 4 separate items: one left surround trim, one left wire mesh, one right surround trim and one right wire mesh.

I did my JDM RS fog light delete recently because I couldn't stand the SRT-4 looking fog lights, looks sooo much better except for the LICP that sticks out like a sour thumb on the drivers side (Matte black piping soon). The fog light assembly also weighs quite a bit. I also tucked and tied the wiring back up just in case I want to run some form of lighting later down the line.

How do you figure?

GSR has a lower weight, more transmission modabilty which can reduce rotating mass, more proven aftermarket pieces that dont overstress the transmission like the "unknown" SST.....

Just guessing that you are basing that off of the "MR" badge instead of facts and research.

If you wanna save more weight... you could take off the "MR" badge too!

with those stupid fog lights, the sst coolers' airflow is substantially compromised. that transmission will overheat after 3 or 4 laps on a road course. if you dont believe a word i say check out this threadhttp://https://www.evolutionm.net/fo...b-one-lap.html

Yes we all know that there are some slight cooling issues with the SST but removing a fog light helps sooo very slightly. In fact this just solidified my point even more. You said the MR was all about function instead of looks.... which this would be contrary.

Buy a GSR and dont worry about a tranny cooler!

Anybody else have pics of this? Perhaps on a non-black car?
