Nice job on the write up and the tails look great! Where did you purchase them and how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Perhaps this has been covered elsewhere, but instead of buying the RA tail-lights, why not black out the stock ones yourself? I mean, you just need to open the casing, plenty of masking tape and high temp black paint. Should be able to replicate the RA lights that way.

Good write up man. I wish I had something like this when I put my lights in back in November. I was so excited to put the lights in I had pulled the foam out without unscrewing it first......honestly I thought that it was just on pegs that kept the two pieces in place. Minimal damage for great looks and the pieces can still be secured (without movement) so it's all good.

When changing the outer lights you can just pull the connector out through the opening instead of removing the outer panels in the trunk. It worked for me...might be a little quicker.

I didnt replace the light harnesses. I just unscrewed the originals from the light housing and put them into the RAs.

You can do this rite? Thats what I was going to do when mine came in. I would think that everything should be the same.

Everything is exactly the same

The sub gets in the way when trying to get to the driver side tail. Made it not worth the effort to me so i just untwisted the 3 connectors and used the original bulbs and harness

I like the RA lights better, good info. Did you get them at the dealer and if so for how much $? or is there somewhere online. Let me know, thanks.
