The paint is so soft on these cars I didn't want to tempt fate with a screwdriver or paint can opener. I took a long head screwdriver and hammered out the original lights from in side the trunk. Both popped out no problem after a couple swings.

Hey guys, just thought I'd contribute my pics to this thread since it helped me.

I couldn't find any side by side comparisons of the stockers and the Ralliarts so I figured I would take some in case someone else out there was wondering before making the purchase.

Couldn't find the camera in time for the before or after shots...it was a wild night.

Just fyi, the trunk was not closed completely!

Damnit, after seeing your pics, I have to get the ralliart tails.

Stock lights don't look too bad on there own, but next to the RA tails, they look like crap.

That's exactly why I took these pics!

Glad to help.

Thumbs up

You guys are an inspiration. I had been debating these for awhile now. After seeing the side by side, I am definitely going to need these on my AS X GSR.

Real tough install compared to Evo VIII. I could change the taillights in a CT9A in about 2 minutes. Those outsides are a bear. I chipped the driver side stock one, made me so mad. The trunk ones would be impossible without a rubber mallet, though. I recommend tapping the gray connector instead of the studs, as its right in the center.
