I used a clean t-shirt instead of a plastic wedge. At the point where you're ready to use the plastic wedge, instead slip a t-shirt (the stronger the better, but plain ol' Hanes worked for me) in between the light and the body from the area above the two phillips head screws. Slide the t-shirt down to the corner where it's stuck in. It's best to have a seam at the very corner.

Now tug on both sides of the t-shirt gently so you don't tear the t-shirt (even if it starts to tear, you should be good). The tail will pop out gently and no risk of gouging or scratching the paint.

Sorry for no pics... if I ever help someone else install tails in these things I'll definitely get pictures of how to do that to make it more clear.

Thanks Frankiago for your T-shirt method. I worked like a charm.

No problem. I spent like literally an hour+ doing this install because I had a clean white T and quick-detailer spray and every time I found dirt or residue I cleaned it up. Then when I came to the side lights, I already had the T-shirt in my hand so I thought hmm... this could work. I didn't like the idea of "prying" the light away from the body with a wedge, no matter what it was made of.

haha no problem. I think I put in there that you have to fish a seam into that corner. The sharp edge will rip right through the middle of the shirt, but a seam will do the trick.

Just wanted to confirm.

The Ralliart tail lights are the same as what the 10MY comes stock? They look identical to my untrained eye.

Finally today I received my RA tail lights, so this evening I'll get rid of those stupid pink OEM lights... Yes, especially on white car they really appears pink, I hate them!!

Just one question: is there a way to check that lights are original Ralliart product? On the light itslef, there's not any Ralliart mark. Suggestions?
It's not a big problem since I got them from a good and respectable tuning store, it's just for my knowledge.

Thanks guys.
Stefano
