Thanks for the write up

I got two questions though, on each side how did you remove the mesh net to get to the two bolts? how much did you pay for your perrin intercooler?

Please don't quote the entire how-to for a one-line reply. If you're talking about the mesh in the front grille, the bolts are not covered. Installing the FMIC is quite easy...I'm not very good with cars and I had no problem.

I bought mine from fredbeans.com and it was the cheapest place at that time.

All of them should since it has outlets in the standard location. I went with UR. The stock lower IC is a decent looking piece (and the bracket gets in the way when you remove it), so I'd suggest just replacing the upper.

Our piping kit will fit any that work with the stock piping.

Thanks!

We don't have any types of checks like that in MI. None at all. The only thing we have to do yearly is pay to renew our tags. That's it.

No. It's nearly impossible for anyone to notice the FMIC has been swapped out. Moreover, the FMIC is not a component of any emissions control device.

I just did this install earlier today using this guide....

I swapped out my FMIC to the ETS 4 inch....from start to finish...it took around 2 hours....and I am far from a skilled mechanic....I like to do things very slow and triple check all of my work

VERY EASY to take off the front bumper....word of advise is make sure you get those 2 white plastic tabs in place when putting the bumper back on.....there are 2, one on each side....a common mistake people make is when they put the bumper back on, one of the plastic tabs don't go in....then you get this ugly gap on one of your headlights....it took me a good while to put the bumper back on, but I made sure to triple check all of my work and make sure there were no gaps.....just take your time and it will fall into place with no gaps!
