These bolt in. There is no specific Evo application though.
Note that these harnesses, being 4-point (even though they have ASM, they are not specifically designed for the Evo application), are not allowed by some HPDE organizations, including Porsche Club of America.

So far I've used these with SCCA Solo and other autocross applications (no big deal), two local drivers education groups, BMW CCA and NASA.

Noone has batted an eye (although the instructors almost always are pleased to have a set on their side). I do know that BMW CCA requires the instructor to have the same restraints available as the driver (ie. if you have a harness the instructor needs one too).

I installed the Schroth Rallye 4 ASM last night, great harnesses. I dont think you'll have a problem anywhere, as long as you have some type of asm device with the harness. The great thing about the schroth is that they use oem mounting locations, and the rears separate from the front section to accommodate rear seat passengers when off the track.

For ppl who have installed aftermarket race harness and want to get rid of beeping Seat Belt Warning.
I use Schroth 3pt w/inertia reels in my X (and they work great btw). But the EASIEST way to rid your eardrums of the dreadful beep- I use these male seatbelt "slugs" to fool the computer and voila, no beeping They work perfectly...Pm me I can hook you up

only problem with Rallye4 is you wont be able to use hans device, if you want to use hans device then you need to get Profi II FE ASM

Except that they (AMS) no longer make one... Option is the NRG or Sparco. Both seem pretty well made.

That's sad I was looking forward to getting that bar.

I don't see an Evo X sparco bar?

best way is to remove the plug and depress the spring loaded sensor. Then tape it up in the depressed position with electrical tape and zip tie it under the seat. Then you can remove the buckle arm all together. I have my driver side disabled just so I can drive short distances without my belt on.
