Need Boost/Vacuum in the cabin

What's the easiest way to get a vacuum/boost line into the cabin? I know I can run it through the fender well and in behind the kick panel. Is there an easier more direct route?

There's a rubber grommet easily visible on the driver's side, that you can push aside and squeeze through.

Me, personally, I drilled through the firewall for my vacuum line, since I'm awesome like that.

the rubber grommet / through the fender well way is pretty easy....I would say it takes just as long as drilling a hole through your firewall and running the line that way

I've always been a fan of using the rubber grommets...

on the passenger side behind the glovebox and sirius unit is a grommet you can go through as well. It's really easy to see on the firewall side. A bit of a pain under the dash/carpet though.

if your going with a mechanical boost gauge, i would recommend the most direct route, ie: drill through the firewall. you dont want all that vac line in the car.

I agree with drilling. The most direct line is best.

I need it for my Blaqops double pumper progressive control unit. It will get mounted in the glove box so the adjustments are accessable while tuning the car. It could also be mounted in the engine compartment.

The grommet on the firewall worked great. A direct path t'd off the diverter valve (BOV) along the top of the firewall and through the grommet into the glove box. Thanks for the tip.

I just pulled the grommet out using a long screwdriver on the engine compartment side then poked a sharp coat hanger through to see where the hole was behind the insulation on the inside. Then I removed the Serius unit to make room and made a little cut in the insulation for the tubing.

He used the one behind the glovebox. In the engine bay it is behind the passenger side strut tower.

You can see a pic of it in my BlaqOPs install thread.
