This is the switch on the left side of the steering wheel. I am taking that off, and relocating it fwd the cup holders, and reinstalling the radio controls, so they are on the steering wheel. Parts cost me $106 from the dealer.

Relocate it to the blank next to ASC. That is what I am doing next week.

Same cost. you save on switch box and two blanks, but need wiring for the relocation.

But you retain the coin tray and how often do you use that button anyway?
Also why have 3 blanks instead of none? unless you need buttons for other stuff.

Good luck with install

I will do it this weekend. Doesn't seem that hard, if you don't do bluetooth.

Wiring for the relocating next to ASC will be the hardest, while not breaking any connectors.

I have the parts for this project but have been unable to disconnect that yellow connector underneath the steering wheel. Everyone else doesn't have a problem so either my car is a pita or I'm a moron. Either is possible when it comes to this kind of thing. lol.

Its quite easy man - Look at it this way...Its got a male side and the female side that plugs into the male side. The whole combo is kept from unplugging by having a spring type connector on the male side which needs to be pulled back to separate it...

Here is the male side with the safety connector on it...

OK so I got this all done, and honestly all I can add to this is to mark the steering wheel nut, and splines. I didnt do this which caused my steering sensor to go off and setting the S-AWC warning light, and limp mode to activate. Just as a warning!
