how do you install SS brakelines on GSR?
yes, this is what my service manual says too.
also, it says bleed the outside screw first, then inside.
btw, i installed AMS lines, but someone told me they would be the same as other popular brands since they all come from the same manufacturer... and you'll notice that the nut holding the line to the hardline is not going to fit the stock bracket on the car. it's very slightly larger than the bracket. i dunno what you guys did, but i actually used a dremel to shave the inside of the bracket slightly, then it was a perfect fit.

Believe it or not...I think the lines go in a certain way..because I was banging my head up against a wall trying to figure out why the heck wouldn't it fit in the bracket...you have to switch the ends around...on both sides mine fit in the brackets and lined up perfectly..but...I had to switch the ends..
Remember to use a FLARE NUT Wrench. I did not use one. At the last line I stripped the passenger front nut on the hard line.
It was a nightmare. I had to get a new one from the dealership and it wasn't easy to install. This wrench would have saved me a lot of time and headache. Other than that the lines were a nice upgrade.

Just to follow up and clarify the proper bleed order. Follow the manual. The reason for the different bleed order is two fold. 1) Because of the abs system there are two "banks" in the master cylinder for the abs solenoids and these two banks incorporate opposite corners - drivers rear, passenger front, then passenger rear, drivers front. 2) The brake lines run down the passenger side of the car making the drivers rear (by line distance) furthest from the master cylinder. When bleeding abs systems you need to bleed by banks starting with the furthest line, then the other line in the same bank, then the furthest line in the next bank and finally the last line making the bleed order DR, PF, PR DF. My SRT-4 is the exact same bleed order for the same reasons.
