Injector install question?

Hey does anyone know the link or how to install the injectors on the X. I have tried searching and came up with now luck. Thanks.

They are 800cc Deutschwerks injectors. Thanks guys

someone local is doing this too, think his handle is chidevildog you might want to check with him. isnt your car in the shop or did you get it already?

hey phil i just read on the other forum about some guy ordering this injectors and he was told they had problems? try pm'ing chidevildog.

Hey bro.. I pmd the OP about the install.. hopefully I can do mine the soonest still waiting for other pieces for e85.. but it outta be straight forward install. been reading a lot about lately and seems doable.. w/o burning house down (knock on wood)

It's mostly just pulling the fuel rail since the injectors are clipped into the rail. I decided to go to an aftermarket rail at the same time since I have a bad case of "while I'm in there." lol

So just remove the fuel rail and they are attacthed to that? And yes to the club! please!

Not only are they attached, I don't see an obvious way to remove them! Aftermarket rails don't use clips like that--the rail just sits on top of the injectors and the o-ring seals the connection.

I'm actually swapping rails on my car again tonight....it's basically disconnect fuel, unbolt return line, disconnect lines on FPR, unplug the injectors...and then lift it out.

Are you using a Cobb AP to reflash? The car isn't going to be easy to keep running without rescaling...

Im planning on it.. just got home and tinkered around where the fuel pipe is and all.. looks pretty simple... theoretically... my fuel pump still not here... I guess another day of waiting...
