Torque Values for MOST common parts

Since I absolutely hate trying to look up anything in my service manual, I figured I would post some of the most common torque values for the X. These are the items I got tired of looking up every time I put them back on. So I made an excel spreadsheet and taped it to the side of my toolbox. Some of the plugs are listed together since their values are the same. Everything else I used the calibrated wrist method. If anyone wants to add, please feel free.

This, when placed after all of the other values, is easy to misread. It reads lb-in for this measurement whereas all the others read lb-ft of torque. Just a heads up in case anyone misreads it. None-the-less, this is a great thread. Thanks!

Don't know if you wanted to explain the two steps to it or not...

Thanks stokEd, I adjusted the numbers for easier reading as well.
I still don't know where to find that symbol. I just pasted yours in there.

You can always do trial and error with holding the ALT button and pressing numbers on the NUM PAD (the regular numbers above letters don't work, you have to use the num pad)

¢ £ ¥ ₧ ƒ º ½ ¼

etc...

I google'd 'plus minus symbol' to find it.

Great thread idea, thanks!

dumb question.

Example:
102 +/-22 in lb

So I guess I torque it to 102 lbs.

but what does the -22 mean?

I love this list so much that I will answer your question. +/- refers to a range. This means that if the torque spec is 102 +/-22, it is safe to torque it to anywhere between 86 (102 - 22) and 122 (102 + 22).

Rotor Bolts Torque

Looking to see what are the Rotor Bolt Torque Specs?

Is it the item called "Wheel Hub Nut" in the PDF?

Thank you!
