BTW, youre not the only one. I and a few others have called Grimmspeed inquiring about an Evo X specific bracket. I for one will never ghetto rig an aftermarket part onto my Evo. Let us know what happens (and post pics).
I think they used a few different brackets they already make for their solenoid for other makes/models and it happened to work for the OEM bracket we have. I believe it came from a Subaru but not sure. Either way it works in the stock location. Right now I'm tuned with a base flash so I need to run my stock crap, but as soon as I get a fueling system sorted/situated for going E85, I will have it up on the dyno for a proper tune, at which time the GS 3-port BCS will be installed.
If you have the GS solenoid and still have the original Evo VIII/IX bracket they supplied with it, give them a call as they have something that now works with the Evo X.
In other words, the mounting problem has been solved.
