I installed a new Exedy Stage 2 clutch in my Evo X, and I want to install the AMS EVO X Clutch Master Cylinder Reinforcement Ring.

I have a question though:

Do you guys remove the ETACS ECU completely from the car to make it easier to get to the pedal assembly? (Disconnect all the cables and remove)

You have to remove the ETACS ECU competely to get to the pedal hardware? Or just let it hang?

It is easier if the ETACS ECU is completely removed when installing the reinforcement ring.

 

It's been a while, but I do believe I remove the ETACS ecu as well.
