strange some people don't use it, I'm guessing they're chasing idle problems when they just need to block the fan from the maf/filter

yes, a write up without pictures is fine aswell! at least it will be better than nothing, but pictures are always a plus!

 

What tools will you need to remove the stock intake and add the ETS?

 

OK here is my best shot.

1) Remove the two screws securing the snorkel
2) Unhinge the filter, remove the filter
3) Remove the snorkel
4) As I recall there are 3 bolts holding down the intake housing, remove these bolts
5) Remove the diverter valve
6) Remove the breather vent (about a 1/2" size tube with an elbow)

the ets intake will install without any problems with MY2011 correct?

 

this is going to be my first mod on my car untill i decide on what else to get, prolly a TBE. but i just want to reconfirm that it will be safe to run on my stock tune?

 

im running it on a stock tune. because it re uses the stock MAF housing your good to go with out a tune
