Clean gauge mounting solutions. Ideas please.
a small piece of the radio face plate area is shaved off, just enough to allow the wires to come in from the fuse box and firewall.

This is nice, I love it. What grit did you use to sand it down? or did you drill then sand?
This is the one I plan on running. It sits right below the ac controls

^^ironic, lol I just installed mine

I actually cleverly used the Perrin Pod cups. Instead of being attached to the center bridge piece, I attached them directly into the steering column cover. much cleaner imo, I love it
and people who complain that this blocks too much are crazy. imo steering column mount is the only one that makes logical sense to me. everything important is in the same place
*this pic is takin about where driving position is

got a few pm's on how this is different. sorry the orig was too dark to tell. I had to tighten them after my auto-x today, so I took some better pics while the cover was off
You can see how I took the gauge cups themselves and attached it to the vertical wall of the cover

anyone interested can pm for the few tips you'll need to get this to fit and stay properly. definitely prefer this over the original Perrin pod design - the center bridge piece cracks easily if you don't line up your holes perfectly - the plastic will always be under some stress; combined with heat, it will eventually crack. I found out this method once mine did on my Ralliart. Loved it so I bought just the gauge cups used off a member (the user had a broken center-piece too) and did it again

Here's what I found. Looks promising! It says "deactivated" -- wonder if someone still has it in stock or if a future revision is coming about?
