DVD in Motion Update 2012 MMCS

If I hadn't been up working for the past 32 hours, I probably wouldn't have got quite so irritated ..
The honour system only seems to work for the masses when you actually have someone standing around with a big stick..

Anyways, again, its all good..
Otaku, I completely understand your frustration in the sense that you feel like people haven't really donated. I noticed you put a link to http://www.navhack.org on the mitsubishi forum without really enforcing a "donate" policy like I have so heavily pushed on this forum.
http://m.mitsubishiforum.com/forum/s...27471&page=120
Considering its a 120 page thread, I'm sure quite a few of subscribers have managed to leech you from there. I understand that's totally not my business what you do with your own creation, but don't make everyone on here suffer for it. We want to help you we truly do, but it's not like we can push donating onto the mitsubishi forum crowd, who I'm sure they haven't read this entire thread to see how I managed to round everyone up to "attempt" to donate by the masses.
Its like your sleeping with two girls who know about each other and wonder why one of them wont be your girlfriend.
Also, ethics you made a pretty bad mistake by doing this:

Considering it was a direct link, still, things like this thread need to stay on here and don't need to be associated with other websites. When people see a direct link to a fix they don't read things like "donate here" they just leech hard. We worked hard for it, we donated. I was the one who initiated Otaku and got him to do this, other people don't deserve that unless they came in here and saw all the effort people made to donate (which I'm hoping would cause them to donate).
So on behalf of the forum, I sincerely apologize we couldn't meet up to your and our donation standards Otaku.
I tried my ****ing best and have no regrets.

Just got mine going - awesome! Now I just need to replace my factory amp that just went ****-up on me and I'll be golden. Well, that is unless someone has found a way to sucessfully update the GPS maps without having to pay a Mitsu dealer 300 bucks for an upgrade.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Otaku, I personally gave 20 quid. I wish people didn't mess up with the honor system, but it's bound to happen. Can I recommend that you keep up the amazing work and simply switch the donation system to not allow download until donated, or completely convert to a sold product.
Hak had mentioned early in the thread about mod'ing the actual interface, and I think things like that present really exciting opportunities for the community, as well as financial possibilities of the person making it.
I can confirm that mine works amazingly well. I watched Transformers (one of the few DVDs I have left) on the way to work this morning and it was AWESOME. Will make the commute SO much easier from now on, as well as entertainment possibilities at meets/shows.
I would gladly purchase an Aux-in-Motion update from you as well, should you decide to continue your efforts, but please do not do it for free, as this exercise in human appreciation and the honor system has failed miserably, as bad as that is to say.
All of you that have downloaded and not donated should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yeah, its all good - I've rewritten the site a bit. If there is a donation, then open downloads are enabled ( for a while ), other than that they're welcome to use the paypal buttons helpfully placed to the left and "buy" access to the site.. I've been digging further into the nav code, as time permits. There'll be another flurry of activity this weekend, I'll keep y'all posted.. Aux-in is the first target, followed by region-free (I swear I found and marked out that code last time but I appear to have lost the work :/ )...
What else are y'all after ?
