DIY Foglight Mod
I've been searching online for a way to keep the fogs on without needing to turn the headlights on for a while. Recently I stumbled upon a brief DIY on another forum. Thought I'd try to make a little write-up with more pics to make things easier for anybody who might be interested in doing this. I've only had this done to my car for a little over a week and haven't had any problems so far so..... TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Here's what your going to need:
•male connector
•15 fuse (blue)
•add-a-circuit wire/fuse jumper
1. Remove the fog light relay (fuse box, engine bay)
2. Insert the male connector into the slot as shown in the pic
3.insert the other end into the fuse slot as shown in pic
4. Enjoy!
•Another thing you guys should know about this method is that the fogs will ALWAYS stay on for as long as the car is on/running.
•You CANNOT manually turn the fogs on/off
•Upon turning off the car, the fogs will stay on for another 10seconds before automatically turning off.
•Fogs stays on with high beams.
Hope this helped somehow.

If you have access to the electronic module that lets you customize ETACS options on the car... you can just plug it into the car and enable the option that allows you to operate the fog lights independently of the headlights.
