Bumper removal question
I removed the bumper once before but I broke one of the small tabs on the side that is connected to the fender (there are like 5 of them still). It sounded so harsh when I pulled on it.
What is the correct way to remove the side of the bumper? A couple people said to "pull down" on it, but I don't get it since it seems that the only way to unsnap the bumper is to pull it out horizontally hard.

Honestly, just do it smoothly and slowly. I've removed and reinstalled my bumper almost 10 times this month already and I've yet to have any issues with tabs breaking.
I pull out laterally, at a slight downward angle, but I don't really think the angle matters.

the only part you would pull "down" would be the very last hole towards the fender well because it slips over a square body grommet that holds a 10mm bolt. The rest you just pull straight out.
if you broke the plastic clip that goes on the car itself, it's like $18 bucks from the dealer and is only two 10mm bolts
if you broke a tab on the bumper cover, what you do is go get a SEM bumper repair kit, cut the fiberglass tape into a 2"x3" square with plastic behind it (this all comes with the kit). Put the glue on the tape, and fold the tape in half over what remains of the torn bumper tab. Let it dry for 90 minutes, trim with scissors and drill a new hole.

I've managed to brake off a tab when I was in a hurry.
I believe it's 62002R for right side and 62002L for left side, might want to double check it though.
And as said before, just be gentle with it and it will pop out
