Install: Buschur Racing Catback & ETS High-Flow Cat

Just finished an install of the Buschur Racing Evo X S.S. Cross Flow Catback Exhaust & ETS High Flow Cat on a 2014 MR. Here are some pictures of the install for those who are thinking about doing a similar install. The install was really smooth. Thanks to Buschur as everything fit perfectly. I only have pictures of the completed install, but the steps below are straight forward.

Difficulty: Easy (if you have a lift. Could be more difficult if laying on your back as some of the bolts required some decent leverage.)

Tools required: Metric sockets, Ratchet & Open ended wrenches, plyers
Sizes: 10, 13, 14 & 17MM

Step 1:
Unbolt the oxygen sensor from the OEM cat (Tip: wait for this to cool completely. I didn't and it was extremely hard to loosen up)
Skip this step if only doing a catback.

Step 2:
Unbolt the nuts connecting the mid-pipe to the cat.

Step 3:
Remove the 14MM spring bolts connecting the mid-pipe to the muffler piping.

Step 4:
Remove the bolt supporting the mid-pipe on the hanger

Step 5:
Get a buddy to hold the rear muffler or use a jack stand. Unseat the muffler one side at a time and remove from the car. Transfer the rubber hangers to your new muffler hangers.

Step 6:
Install the new muffler to the left and right hangers.

Step 7:
Unbolt the OEM cat from the downpipe

Step 8:
Bolt in the high-flow cat using new gasket and bolts/nuts.

Step 9:
Re-install the oxygen sensor

Step 10:
Position the new mid-pipe in place by inserting it in to the new muffler, attach to hanger.

Step 11:
Bolt the mid-pipe to the cat. Make sure to use your new gaskets and nuts/bolts.

Step 12: Attach and tighten the exhaust straps. I had to use an impact wrench to get the strap tight enough to hold the exhaust joints securely.

Tighten all the bolts.

Thanks. The best part of the install was getting to use to lift.

It's 3" all the way to the cat flange. This is an option on the Magnaflow systems, but doesn't come by default.

I'd say this video is an accurate depiction:

except the catback is slightly quieter with the stock cat. I believe the red Evo in the video above is running a high-flow cat or test pipe.

Overall, definitely louder than stock but in no way too compromised.
