Evo X engine block, is an Outlander or similar 4B11 engine able to be used as a core
I have a 2009 Evolution X SST UK spec which has thrown a rod and damaged the block so I now need a short block. I was intending to sleeve and upgrade the rods and pistons and upgrade the block before it expired. The question is are the 4B11 block's from as an example the Mitsubishi Outlander compatible as a donor short block for the Evolution X. All the other components will be from the Evolution, it is just the short block I want to swap and upgrade. Is this possible or do I need to use a short block from an Evo X?
