you guys looking into making a c/f roof for the X anytime soon?

The X's roof is aluminum so I don't know if it will save much weight. I could be wrong though.

Its definitely aluminum. I can tell by all the damn noise it makes when it goes through the dryers at a touchless car wash.

I think in the IX MR they said it saves like 14LBS. The X roof line looks a big bigger so maybe 16LBS? Just a rough guess

If you are shopping for one purely based on looks...then yes i can see your side.

but for weight savings and the extra chassis support a True carbon/kevlar roof provides for a Racer ....its a very wise investment.

i know somebody who can do cf overlay,he told me $300.00.(maybe high maybe low)
