The chrome grille surround looks best in WW Evos. There is too much contrast with other colors for my taste. That said, I don't think it's ghetto, ricer, or gaudy at all. As mentioned, Mitsubishi would not adorn its top end model with chrome if that was the case.

Most mr owners I know hate the chrome grill they say it actually makes their cars look cheap. We are driving evos not Chrysler 300's keep the chrome off of them.

I honestly think that the chrome surrounding adds a bit of sophistication to the front of the evo and highlights that beautiful front nose

what makes an evo its the big wing. look at the first generation evo. what sets them apart for other cars its the big wing. you are making the car loose its character

Not installed, I either have the part and I havent had time to installed it yet or I've ordered it and i'm waiting for delivery(Made to order JDM part).
