19 x 10 +22 Enkei RPF1s
275/30/19 Michelin Pilot A/S 3+
Tein streetflex coilovers
1 degree of camber all the way around
Fenders rolled pulled, no fender liners, no undertray
So why dont I see any pics of SSR Professors or 5-6 spoke deep dish wheels on Evo's anywhere? Why has no one fitted these? Will these clear the brembos?
Would anyone know the kind of specs I would need to make these sit flush? (offset, rim width, tyre size)?
I'm Looking at getting the Work S1rs for my Evo X. When lowered to the point in this photo, will I need anything to do anything else beside fender rolling to prevent them from scrubbing? (spacers etc.) What tire size would go best with this to prevent scrubbing?
WOW. This is exactly what I'm looking for. 10.5 inch is massive, didn't think they would fit.... What size are your tires? No spacers needed at all?
Just want to make sure before I bite the bullet.
Seems like 9.5 - 10.5 width is the way to go on these cars, you would have to see what wheel you wanted either 18" or 19" as some don't clear brakes without spacers. I was lucky enough that the Advan's were "made for big brake kits" because of spoke design. I too was going to go with the SSR SP4 but the way they have their disk setups were weird to me. If I wanted to go that route I would have had to get the High pad disk in 19" because of the step lip. As for tires, they are a bit stretched at 275-30-19. I probably could have gotten away with 285 with a full roll in the rear and heat molding the fender liners, but I'm lazy and didn't want to do that. I also didn't want to buy spacers, I would say I have about 3-4mm of clearance between the back of the spoke and the caliper. Just research the wheel you want cause all of them are different.
Seems to me like the popular offset is +15 - +25 ish.
first day i bought my evo it came in w/ ambit re18 18x10.5 +22 265/35/18 no rubbing then i sold it right away and put on some rpf1 18x10.5 +15 275/35/18 had to get the rear rolled

So 265 10.5 +22 was just on the edge of no rubbing and the +15 275s crossed the line. That's good info. I'm putting it in my personal wiki file, thanks. Can you tell us which model tires you had in 265 and 275, since some tires run wide/narrow versus others?
well when i had the ambit wheels it had some nankang tires and the tires had skinny side wall where the wheel lip pokes out and for the rpf1 i had the bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw and has a good amount of sidewall..btw the car came in with the swift spec r springs. l
my cousin is running. gramlights 57dr 18x10.5 +12 265/35/18 continental tires and he did told it doesnt rub and he only got the rears rolled too and he said that for +12 u can only go 265 max anything higher will rub.. his car has no finger gap front and back
