The Aero Kit can be bought and installed at any time, right?

Yeah, but it's probably best to get it with the car. Cheapest way I think. As a package. I was going to wait but I said screw it.

Yeah true but I dunno if I can afford that extra $2000 into the price right off the bat. That + sight and sound is like $38k!

I wanted it on mine but I'm going to get it in a few months. It comes painted I do believe and installation is no big hassle. All the pieces can be bought apart from ecah other. You don't have to get the whole rig. Myself, Im only getting the front air dam piece, I think the rest is just a waste for nothing really.

Actually, the prices aren't too bad if you were to purchase it afterwards. http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/ - This would be everything you need to install. Keep in mind that their site is the cheapest around, but you also have to add in the $200+ shipping. Plus installation. It's easily done in the driveway or garage, but it still takes time. If you go this route it's cool. Prices from the dealer parts department will be way higher. Add up the crossed out "List" prices on the site.

The pros of buying it with the car is that it's under the full warranty. No installation cost or time. If you can get a great price around invoice, I'd say just go all the way. I think the side skirts make the car look a lot better, but that's just my opinion.

plus it's nice to have everything painted at the same time to ensure an exact match.

I'm under the impression they come painted. You order to "match". Quick side-note. From factory 99% of japanese cars have slightly mis-colored bumpers from the rest of the car.
