how does length of time it takes a company in japan to produce a product + overseas shipping equate to somethings "worth"? These aren't just sitting around in a corner of a warehouse...they are made to order.
8-10 weeks is standard fare for anything special ordered from japan that is arriving via ocean freight. There is always an option of air freighting the item which cuts down on cost, but obviously that's more expensive.
My wheels took 6 months from japan -- just the nature of the beast, these things don't just magically appear, quality takes time.

If your the only people that can order Do Luck then its probably safe to say I wont have Do Luck on my car.
his just stating the truth mate, JDM parts don't come easy as their not made and kept in warehouses. 8 - 10 weeks seems to be a really short wait considering they have to make it and send it halfway around the world.
I'd mention a certain company that is building a knock-off/replica off this part, but I'm sure that would **** off more people than just bumping an older, but more informative thread. =)
If you are looking for someone to sugar coat things for you and tell you it'll be here in "2 weeks" and it ends up taking 6 months...I'm not that guy. Alot of people will give false promises just to make a sale as I'm sure we've all dealt with in the past. Some people can handle the truth, and handle the wait time it takes, which I'm always up front about. For others that can't -- there are plenty of alternatives out there that you can pick up during your summer break from college.

I think the breakdown that BPAuto mentioned was just meant to be a brutally honest breakdown to keep things as transparent as possible.
