Hello EVOM,

Some of you were curious as to what the New Apexi RS Evolution Twin Tip Exhaust for the 2008 Evolution X's sounded like, so I thought I would take a couple of sound clips and show some installed photos.


My overall first day impressions was it sounded like stock, just a little throaty do to the 3" Test Pipe. At idle, it's very quiet, cruising it doesn't drone out. At WOT it is very aggressive sounding.

MSRP is around $1200.00 and retails for around $1040.00 plus shipping.

Is this the exhaust you are going to be using for time attack? Is it relatively light weight?

 

Na, This exhaust is coming off after the next photo shoot.

I am doing a custom exhaust for the track (light weight)

 

Sounds good! I love the HKS I have but sometimes I wish it was a little louder

 

Nice. With RRE? I've been considering the straight pipes with no muffler setup lately. Your old setup I believe.

It's gonna be bigger then 3"...and lighter then 22lbs.

 

That sounds like an amazing combination. I would love to swing by to hear it in person if I ever get the chance. I'm in the market for a lightweight exhaust for my evo x.
