yeah, just too many emblems for me. Eventually I will black out the evo emblem and trunk button, and do something similar to the front. Chrome FTL.

So the Lancer & Mitsubishi badges look cheap, but the evolution badge doesn't......

like being said before its always gonna be a lancer. both my evo and lancer are fully debadged. i rather no badges at all..matter fact even my civic was debadged. im just not a badge person.

some people like to just call the car an evolution which i think is why it confuses the common people..they see your car and no little to nothing about lancers in general. so the next time they may see just a lancer on the road and call it an evolution then you have people misunderstanding the car. some people will be like oh man i saw another evo the other day, i tell them no most likely it was just a lancer. and then tell them the most obvious distinctions between the lancer and evo like dual exhaust, hood and front bumper with obvious intercooler

I would say the Evolution badge has a little pizazz to it, it's not boring like the Mitsubishi or Lancer ones.

I am all for people who debadge for the sake of a clean look.

But to take out the Mitsubishi badge or Lancer badge just so not to be associate or mistaken for the run of the mill base machine....I see some identity issue here....well, it may be just me.

I don't see people with Audi RS4, or people with M3 complaining how their model looks like the garden variety version.

it seem that it is usually people that own STI & Evo being too sensitive to being associated with the base models.....

Maybe Mitsubishi should do a "Nissan" & cut the line between the base model & performance model like they did with the GT-R R35, no more skyline, & not even the nissan badge on the car, at least not on the outside.

But don't come here & complain when it retail a good 10-20k more due to the lost of economy of scale & overhead cost to create totally new model for the evo.

I'm not too worried about being associated with a normal lancer, I just like the look of having only the badge and 'Evolution'.

I moved mine to the drivers side and put an 'X' after it.

The rear looks really nice & clean, especially with the X. RA lights looks good on blue.

Maybe I will run this setup.

Why not take the Evolution badge and just leave the Lancer alone. Make it sort of a sleeper.
